Who is this new TED?
Meet Ted B.
TED was a president.
TEDDY became a bear.
And then there was Ted B.
Ted B brings the teddy bear story into the present with a contemporary character and a surprising connection to popular culture. He’s become a bit of a San Diego favorite along the way.
A Different Kind of TED
Ted B isn’t Theodore Roosevelt. He isn’t the original bear from the 1902 story. He’s something entirely different.

And his story takes an unexpected turn when Keanu Reeves enters the picture — one that San Diego audiences have taken a particular liking to.

From History to Today
The original TEDDY story began more than 120 years ago. Ted B gives that story a contemporary face.
The bear has changed. The culture around it has changed. But the fascination with the bear hasn’t gone away — and in San Diego, it’s only growing.
